Why vertical videos need a safe zone
Short-form video interfaces place usernames, captions, action buttons, music labels, and other controls over the video. A face, logo, subtitle, or call to action can be covered even when the original edit looks perfect.
Read the overlay
The red regions are practical danger zones, not a promise of one fixed interface. Keep essential text and faces inside the dashed green area, then preview the result at a small mobile size. The Universal preset is useful when one export will be shared across several networks.
A simple creator workflow
Upload the final image or video, select the destination platform, compare Organic post and Paid ad presets, and zoom out to test readability. Download the transparent PNG guide when an editor needs a visible reference layer.
Why presets differ
Shorts, Reels, TikTok, and Facebook Reels do not place identical controls in identical positions. Treat each preset as a planning guide and check the live app after major platform interface changes.
Browser-only privacy
The preview uses FileReader, video playback, CSS, and canvas in your browser. No account connection or automatic social-media upload is required.
